Rev. Michael Wakeland, Pastor
‘In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.’ John 1:4
Joe Boway was commissioned in January 2004, as a missionary to the people of Liberia, by New Life Lutheran Church. Born in Liberia, West Africa, he has lived in the U.S. since November 1990, due to the civil war in Liberia. Joe has a B.A. in Christian Education from Taylor University, Fort Wayne, IN. He has worked as a literacy teacher, youth worker, Bible translator and missionary recruiter, and has helped translate the New Testament into his native language.
The Boways are thankful to God that they can work together in this ministry and pray they will be used by God to bless the people of Liberia, particularly the children. They invite you to be part of their ministry by praying and giving financially as God enables you.
