Listen to Jesus!
Big Idea: Many people want to tell us what to do. Some do this by law – you must. Others do this by promises of a better life. Only Jesus does it out of love for us. He shows us His love by what He does for us.
When Not to Obey
Big Idea: There are time when we are not to obey those who have authority over us, when what they tell us to do is in conflict with what God tells us to do.
God or Tradition?
Big Idea: Most traditions are good. But sometimes traditions try to override God’s Word. Then we must set aside tradition in order to obey God.
The Crowd or the One?
Big Idea: Trying to listen to and follow popular opinion will lead you away from Jesus. His opinion of you and His truth are all that matters.
