The Great I Am

Big Idea of the Series: Jesus made many “I Am” statements.  These statements were designed to 1) identity Him as God in the flesh. 2) tell us something about God, His nature, His love, and His relationship to us.

I Am Who I Am

Big Idea: God always is.  He is the one constant in our lives.  He should be the One whom we are always looking to and thinking about.

The Bread of Life

Big Idea: Jesus is what is needed for life.  He is the source of life.  He is the One who sustains life.

Life to the World

Big Idea: Sin brought death into the world.  Jesus brings life into the world.

Light of the World

Big Idea: Jesus is the light that overcomes the darkness of sin, death, the devil, and our own sinful desires. 

When I Am Lifted Up

Big Idea: Jesus came to die on the cross.  This is how He gives His body as the life of the world.

Before Abraham

Big Idea: Jesus always is.  There has never been a time He has not been.  He is God who is the Great I Am.

The Gate

Big Idea: It is only through Jesus that we can enter into heaven.

The Good Shepherd

Big Idea: Jesus is the Shepherd of Psalm 23.

The Resurrection and the Life

Big Idea: Not only is Jesus the source of life, but He is also the One who brings dead people back to life.

The Way, The Truth, And the Life

Big Idea: Jesus is the only way to eternal life.  He is also the source of truth and the one whom all truth is measured against.

The True Vine

Big Idea: Only when we are connected to Jesus through faith will we truly live and experience our purpose in life.
